SiteGround Email Marketing January Updates

Email Marketing Service Updates: More value and flexibility to boost your email marketing success [January]

SiteGround Email Marketing tool keeps getting better and better! This month alone, we launched several exciting new features that make it even easier to collect leads, create emails and send campaigns, and get results!

Integration with Elementor Pro and Contact Form 7 plugins

Our main mission is to help you collect and turn website visitors into paying customers using email marketing. That is why we created a Lead generation plugin for WordPress that makes it easy to add subscription forms to your site. Plus, we are proactively building integrations with other popular WordPress lead generation plugins that will automatically add new leads to your SiteGround Email Marketing tool, and have more options to grow your list.

Our latest integrations serve the users of Elementor Pro forms and Contact Form 7. If you have any of these plugins installed on your website, you need to add and activate SiteGround’s Lead generation plugin, which will start doing its magic and automatically populate your leads from Elementor Pro or Contact Form 7 into the Email Marketing tool.

Use any domain to send emails with our tool

You can now send email campaigns through our Email Marketing tool using any domain, even for websites not hosted by us. This means you can add SiteGround Email Marketing to all your sites, regardless of where they are hosted. This new feature extends our services to a broader range of domains, offering you more flexibility and options to grow your marketing efforts.

Free AI-generated image gallery

The success of your emails equally depends on your copy and your images. While email copy writing is already really easy with our integrated AI writing assistant, getting fancy images for your emails has been a wild card. Many users would either shop stock photos or hire photographers to create custom looks for their campaigns. Pretty costly and time-consuming. That is why we are now excited to introduce our free AI-generated image gallery – with tons of images across topics and styles, it allows you to build engaging emails easily, quickly, and at no extra cost!

Save your custom email templates

By popular demand, SiteGround Email Marketing users can now save custom templates. Imagine you create an email design you love. Now, you can save it and use it again whenever you want. This means you don’t have to start from scratch every time you send an email, and your emails will look consistently awesome!

Add bullet points and numbered lists

You can now use bullets and numbered lists to organize and structure your content in a more easily readable format. Bulleted and numbered lists break down information into manageable chunks, making your emails easier to skim and understand, which is very important considering the attention span we people have nowadays. And it also highlights key points, increasing the likelihood of your audience taking the desired action. This feature is designed to improve user experience and engagement, ultimately boosting your email’s success.

Hello Vrajesh, thank you for the great question. Ensuring maximum email deliverability is key for us. We achieve this in a few ways. For one - each domain name used in the marketing campaign will undergo a DKIM/ SPF verification process. Another thing we do is to divide campaigns exceeding 500 recipients into batches of 500. Let's say you're sending a campaign out to 2000 recipients. After the first 500, there will be a delay of a few hours which allows for the remote servers to supply feedback for the campaign including bounces, unsubscribe rates, and spam reports. If everything is ok - the rest of the emails will be sent. In this way, your message will be delivered to the inbox of people that actually want it. For more info - reach us directly from the Help Center, our team would be happy to assist further.

Hello Samantha, thank you for the question! Yes, the SiteGround Email Marketing tool offers both automation and segmentation. You can schedule campaigns to be sent out automatically at predetermined times, which is useful for tailoring your campaigns to different audience segments based on their habits, preferences, and locations. Here is how: https://eu.siteground.com/kb/scheduled-campaigns-sending/. More info on how to implement subscriber segmentation with SiteGround Email Marketing can be found here: https://eu.siteground.com/kb/what-are-groups/. Still, we're not 100% sure if this is what you're looking for and we'd like to invite you to contact our friendly team from the Help Center if we can assist further: https://stgrnd.co/contactus/.

Hey Jeff, thank you for commenting. I'm happy to provide you with an answer. Currently, we don't offer integration with the WPForms plugin. However, you have two other great options to explore. First, you can combine the Email Marketing tool with our in-house-built SiteGround Email Marketing plugin. Alternatively, you can also integrate it with the Contact Form 7 plugin, one of the most popular options for WordPress. Here are the steps: https://my.siteground.com/support/kb/email-marketing-integration-with-contact-form-7/ . In case this didn't quite address your query or if you have more questions, don't hesitate to reach us through this link: https://stgrnd.co/chat/. We would be happy to assist you further.

Hi, Do you support tags for customer contact details? Can those tags be imported? Do you offer an easy option for sending individual emails. Something that is based on existing templates, but sent via some 'To:' fields rather added to a group and sent from there?

Hello Georgi, thank you for the question; we would be happy to provide clarity on some of our email marketing functions. If by "tags," you mean a way to categorize your contacts, such as using groups, then yes - we support that. You can assign contacts to different groups when you create them or add existing contacts to groups later on. This will help you better manage and send campaigns to specific groups of your audience. Regarding your second question - if you are asking whether we offer the capability to send individual emails based on existing templates - the answer is again yes. Our Email Marketing service allows you to send personalized emails to your contacts. You can use a template and send it to individual contacts by selecting them when setting up your campaign. We hope that we managed to answer all your questions. If not, feel free to reach out from the Help Center. Our team would be happy to provide you with additional information.

I have multiple websites hosted on Siteground. Can I set up one email marketing service to serve all the sites and use segments to separate the audiences, or do you require a separate email service account for each site?

Hey there, Alvalyn, that's a great question. You can indeed set up one Email Marketing service to serve all your websites hosted with us, however, it's not always recommended. Our Email Marketing tool allows you to create custom groups to segment your audiences and manage different subscriber lists for each website within a single Email Marketing account. You can learn more about managing groups from our knowledge base article: https://my.siteground.com/support/kb/what-are-groups/. However, you will only be able to email those subscriber lists from the one domain you have authenticated on the sender details page. If you need further assistance or have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out via the Help Center. We are just a chat away!
