Can I host a WebSocket server?
Running a WebSocket server requires having a custom port opened on the hosting server for incoming connections, which is not allowed on any of our hosting plans. Instead of WebSockets, you can modify your application to use long polling instead, which uses the standard HTTP and HTTPS ports, which are open on all servers.
