How to create a custom campaign for separate link/banner tracking?
If you’re looking to track specific link or banner performance separately, you need to create a new affiliate campaign. You can easily do so from the My Campaigns page in your Affiliate section – https://my.siteground.com/affiliate/campaigns.
Once there, just follow the instructions below:
- Click on Add New Campaign;
- Select the Campaign Region which defines on which SiteGround website your visitors land – Global, Spanish, Italian, etc;
- Give your campaign a name – the name is for your own convenience and tracking purposes, so choose one that you can easily identify;
- Select the right landing page for the right target group – we have compiled a list of our best performing sales pages – choose the one that fits best with what your audience is looking for, such as Managed WordPress, Cloud hosting, etc;
- Click on Create Campaign.
You can now copy your new custom campaign code and embed it on your website. The custom link will enable you to track the performance of this particular campaign separately from your Default affiliate one, and will help you figure out which one performs best.
