How to set up a mail account on iPhone?
To configure an email account with SiteGround on an iPhone, start by tapping Settings on your home screen. Then, go to Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account. Fill in the required information:
- Name: the name of your email user (e.g. John Smith);
- Address: your email address (e.g. user@yourdomainname.com);
- Password: the password for your email address. If you don’t know it you can change it via Site Tools for your hosting account choosing Email > Accounts;
- Description: a short description of your email account (e.g. John’s Mail).
After that tap Next and you will have to fill in the details of the Incoming Mail Server:
You can also find the exact settings to use with each of your mail accounts with your iPhone in your Site Tools > Email > Accounts, choose the preferred email account and go to kebab menu > Mail Configuration and select Manual Settings tab.
Tap Next again and provide the same information as above for the Outgoing Mail Server and wait for the Mail app to confirm the information.
Finally, tap Save and your email will be added to your email account list.
